What is Imzadi?
Imzadi Sauna & Forest Spa is a wellness sanctuary that brings the restorative traditions of the Finnish sauna, thermal therapy, and forest bathing to Oregon’s North Coast. Nestled near Astoria along the serene Klatskanine River, Imzadi offers an unparalleled day-use sauna and healing experience inspired by nature’s quiet power.
The word “Imzadi” means “beloved," but not in the ordinary sense. It speaks to a love that transcends time and space, the deepest connection of the soul. We fell in love with this sacred corner of the world and became its stewards, receiving from the land a profound sense of grounding and renewal. It’s this healing energy we wish to share with all who visit.
At the center of the Imzadi experience is our wood-burning sauna. Feel the warmth and gentle steam ease your body and mind as birdsong mingles with the soothing sounds of the river. A refreshing cold plunge reawakens the senses, and the crisp forest air restores balance and peace.
We invite you to book a private session and experience this sanctuary for yourself. While Imzadi is still in development, we are currently offering a limited number of discounted sessions. In the near future, we’ll expand our offerings to include additional amenities, special events, and holistic services such as massage and sound baths.
