SPA GUIDELINES

At Imzadi, our goal is to create a healing, forest bathing experience with a focus on mindfulness and connection to yourself, to each other, and the land. We strive to provide a safe, welcoming environment for all guests and are happy to accommodate accessibility needs whenever possible.

WHAT TO BRING:

Private Sessions: Clothing is optional.
Bring two towels. One small towel to sit on in the sauna, and one to dry off with.
Towel rentals are available at $3 / towel.
River shoes or sandals are recommended. Pathways and common areas are mulch and gravel.
Bring a refillable water bottle.

AGE: The spa is for adults (18+) only.

PETS: Pets are not permitted on the property. ADA-defined service animals are excepted.

BEHAVIOR:

The spa is a non-sexual experience. Sexual activity is prohibited.
Respect the forest, plants, wildlife, and trees. Stay on paths and enjoy our efforts to be stewards of this sacred land.
If you are participating in disruptive behavior, you will be asked to leave without a refund.

SUBSTANCES, FOOD, & DRINK:

ELECTRONIC DEVICES:

Private Sessions: There is no cell phone or camera restriction during private bookings.
Feel free to photograph the spa and surrounding forest. Please do not photograph the parking area, neighboring properties, the workshop, or the private residence.
During private rentals, the use of a speaker inside and around the sauna is allowed, but please keep volumes at low levels. We recommend you come and enjoy the sounds of the river, fire, and forest instead.

CLEANLINESS:

Take a cleansing rinse before your sauna session. We do not want to introduce scents, perfumes, or lotions to the sauna environment.
Rinse before using the cold plunge to maintain water cleanliness for multiple people.
Sit on a towel in the sauna.

SAFETY:

Imzadi Sauna is primarily a self-guided experience. Please use the facilities mindfully and at your own risk. We reserve the right to check in with guests or enter the spa area at any time during your visit.
River access varies with seasonal conditions and weather. Access may be restricted or closed at any time due to water levels, weather, or other hazards. Please obey all posted signs and any verbal instructions from staff regarding river access.
If the river is accessible, please use extreme caution, as the rocks can be very slippery. River sandals / shoes are recommended.
SAUNA USE:
- Avoid using the sauna if you are pregnant, have heart or respiratory problems, or are under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Listen to your body and leave the sauna immediately if you feel dizzy, lightheaded, or unwell.
- Start with sessions of 5-10 minutes and gradually increase time as tolerated, up to a maximum of 20 minutes.
- Alternate between time in the sauna, cold plunge/shower, and resting outside.
- Drink plenty of water.
Unless specifically instructed otherwise, guests should not add wood to the stove. If you've been given permission to do so, use extreme caution to avoid burns. We're happy to stop by approximately every 60 minutes to maintain the fire and temperature.

FACILITIES AND PROPERTY:

Imzadi Sauna is located on a shared property that also includes a private residence and other small businesses. Please remain within the designated spa area unless directed otherwise or in the event of an emergency.
Visits to the ReWild Native Plant Nursery are by appointment only.
